It’s 1020am and I’m still in my tent. It’s cold, windy and raining. Right now, warm and dry are preferable so I’ve been hunkered down in my tent all morning. I may just stay at this site all day. Or if the weather improves I may move on. One things for sure though- Franklin by Sunday is pretty much out of the question now.

yes there is a cold front with lots of rain passing you and heading our way. Its bringing colder temps Friday and Saturday, but warming up Sunday.
Good morning! Or actually afternoon! It’s raining here right now so I hope that means it’s already passed you by and you can get out of your tent and enjoy the day at Bly Gap if you decided to stay there for the day. I hope the weather report is true and you at least get a few days with no rain. It is truly amazing that you have WALKED (and climbed!) from one state into another! 80 miles!! And you walked there.
